    Terms of Service

    General

    ✦  Designer has the right to decline any request for any reason.
    ✦  Client must credit designer in a visible place. Credit should be stated in Twitter/SNS bios, Youtube descriptions, and/or Twitch panels.
    ✦  Use of the finished work for anything related to or associated with non fungible tokens or cryptocurrency is not allowed.

    Privacy

    ✦  By default, the designer is allowed to share progress and completion of the project on social media. If privacy is a concern, client may request non-disclosure.
    ✦  Public disclosure of private messages between the designer and client is not allowed.Both parties can not publicly share discussions or screenshots about payment, negotation, details of the art process, or anything else related to the project.

    Payment

    ✦  All payment is in USD($).
    ✦  50% payment is required to begin the project. Remaining balance will be invoiced when the model is complete.
    ✦  Invoices will be sent via PayPal. PayPal fees will apply.
    ✦  Additional fees during work on the project might be issued based on further client requests.

    Refunds and Cancellations

    ✦  No refunds issued after any form of payment has been sent. By sending payment, you are confirming your commitment to the project.
    ✦  Client may request project cancellation if no work has been done yet and no payment has been sent.
    ✦  The designer can cancel the project at any point due to force majeur, communication issues, or for any other reason. The client will be refunded the following amount, based on the stage of the project:

    Cancellation after Sketch stage: 70% refund
    Cancellation after Lineart stage: 60% refund
    Cancellation after Flat Colors: 50% refund

    Copyrights & Usage

    ✦  The designer retains all rights to the design specific to the project. This includes sketches, compositions, thumbnails, and the finished work.
    ✦  The designer has the right to use the finished work for promotional purposes.
    ✦  The client has commercial rights to the project. Monetization on platforms with use of the project is allowed.
    ✦  The client retains character rights.
    ✦  The client does not have the right to modify, resell, or repurpose the completed work in any form.
    ✦  Both parties agree that the work being commissioned does not infringe on the rights of other parties outside of project.

    Commission Process

    Request & Confirm

    ①  You'll submit a request form.
    ②  I will accept you for the current round or place you on a waitlist if requested.
    ③  If accepted, your request is confirmed and you'll be contacted for further discussion on your model.
    ④  Once I get a good idea of what you have in mind, I'll send you a price quote and an invoice to begin the project.

    Sketch & Refine

    This stage involves a LOT of communication and is where we'll figure everything out with your model. Most revisions occur in this stage and will not incur extra fees.
    ①  I'll begin sketching out your model based on the references and notes you've given.
    ②  You'll provide feedback and let me know what you want revised. Please be concise.

    ✔ Let's make her hair longer so that it reaches her elbows instead. Also, could you add stars to the hem of her dress? Here is a link to a dress that I'd like you to refer to.."
    ✘ "I don't know if I like the hair length and the dress looks like it's missing something... what do you think?"

    ③  Rinse and repeat until the sketch is satisfactory.

    Lineart & Flat Color

    This is the last stage where you can request reasonable revisions and likely not incur extra fees.
    ①  I will outline your model in black. The lineart color will change later on.
    ②  Flat colors will be added to the model.
    ③  You can let me know if you want any colors swapped out.

    Rendering & Cutting

    At this point, any revisions that deviate too much from what's already done will incur extra fees.
    ①  I'll begin shading and highlighting your model.
    ②  Based on your design, I'll cut and separate all the different parts appropriately for Live2D rigging.
    ③  If you have a rigger on standby already, please feel free to ask them to contact me so I can work with them directly.

    We're Done!

    No revisions allowed at this point.
    ①  I'll add final touches to your model.
    ②  The PSD file will be transferred to you.
    ③  Enjoy your new model and please don't forget to credit me!
    Extra Notes
    ✦  My comfort zone is drawing feminine or cute characters. I will not draw elaborate armor, mecha, super buff characters, anything that involves religion/politics, or characters that heavily resemble existing IPs and designs.
     
    ✦  Requests without any type of reference will be automatically declined. References can be character sheets, pinterest mood boards, commissioned art, or even your own doodles with notes. I will prioritize requests that give me more details to work with.
     
    ✦  I'm willing to work directly with your rigger for any necessary edits or cuts. However, I will not be responsible in finding a rigger for you.
     
    ✦  Any requests from a Vtuber belonging to an agency or company is subject to a heavier commercial fee, starting at an increase of 150% of the current commission fee. Please contact me to further discuss.
